We also welcome inquiries from home health agencies, suppliers, clinicians and other organizations interested in working with MesaCare.
Every MesaCare NP completes structured competency training in advanced wound care modalities, WoundReference CliniPaths protocols, vendor training on our imaging and ultrasound platforms, and field certification with our Clinical Lead before independent visits.

MesaCare’s Field Clinical Lead. Performs I&D, selective and surgical debridement, biopsies, and wound cultures across long-term and post-acute settings. Rides along and signs off each MesaCare NP before independent practice.
Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP trained at Drexel, BSN Magna Cum Laude from UNM. Two years as Surgical First Assist at Lovelace Women’s Hospital, with current in-home diagnosis and management experience.

After clinical referrals open in November 2026, no MesaCare form or new workflow for your nurses will be needed. Face sheet, insurance card, H&P or recent progress note, wound location and duration, current orders — that’s it.
Planned care after launch. Clinical referrals are not yet open.
Supplies & orders. We bring our own advanced-modality equipment. Dressings follow the resident’s plan of care and your facility’s supply; we leave clear next-dressing instructions your night shift can follow.
The same advanced modalities a wound clinic offers — without the transport, the premedication, or the day-long round trip for a resident already at risk of skin breakdown.
After launch, visit timing will depend on clinical appropriateness and availability.
SNFs, assisted living, memory care, and patients’ homes across the Albuquerque metro.
Signed eval in 24h, weekly measurements and photos, orders faxed to your attending and your unit.
Bacterial load visible at the bedside — fewer blind antibiotic starts.
Non-contact low-frequency ultrasound for stalled and complex wounds.
Portable ultrasonic debridement delivered at the resident’s bedside.
Planned care after launch. Clinical referrals are not yet open.
Your attending stays attending. We’re a consultant. We fax orders and dressing changes to your attending and your unit; the primary keeps the resident on their panel.

Most wound services for Part A skilled residents are bundled under SNF consolidated billing. We walk your business office through it before the first visit and we never surprise-bill your facility. See Billing.
Medicare Part B, Medicare Advantage plans, Centennial Care (NM Medicaid), Presbyterian, BCBSNM, and most commercial plans. Individual coverage will be verified after clinical referrals open.
Fax by default. We can also deliver into PointClickCare or MatrixCare where facilities are set up for it — ask us on the first call.
After launch, weekend coverage is planned from day one. Same clinicians, same documentation, same fax path — no separate on-call number, no gap between Friday and Monday.
Yes. Our FNP is fully bilingual English/Spanish and can teach the resident and family directly.
Acute osteomyelitis needing IV therapy, wounds requiring OR debridement, active gangrene needing vascular surgery. We’ll tell you fast and help route it.
Yes — 15-minute lunch-and-learn or a full 45-minute session. Connect through the facility-interest section to discuss training needs.
After launch, MesaCare can complement a facility’s existing wound-care provider for complex cases and gaps in coverage.
