Launching in Albuquerque November 2026
MesaCare Mobile Health is not yet accepting patient referrals or providing patient care.
Physician-led. Field-certified. Difficult-wound specialists — especially for referrers.
Founder-level accountability, remote medical direction, and advanced wound care delivered by nurse practitioners in the field. Meet the people behind MesaCare.
Co-Founder and CEO passionate about pushing wound care forward with newer, better, less-painful technologies. Two decades across healthcare services, business development, and operations. Launched MesaCare Health to partner with skilled nursing facilities, retirement communities, and home health agencies across New Mexico — meeting patients where they live.
Trained at St. George’s University School of Medicine with residency at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Wright has led some of the busiest wound care programs in Texas and Utah, specializing in advanced modalities including Total Contact Casting, skin substitutes, skin grafting, and limb preservation.
Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP trained at Drexel University, with BSN Magna Cum Laude from UNM. Two years as Surgical First Assist at Lovelace Women’s Hospital and current in-home diagnosis and management with House Calls of New Mexico. AACN and ANCC board certified. Sharp assessment, steady hands.
Wound Care Nurse Practitioner with Advantage Surgical Wound Care, managing wounds and performing I&D, selective and surgical debridement, biopsies, and wound cultures across long-term and post-acute settings. Also serves hospice patients with Enchanted Sky Hospice. Certified Health Coach. Purpose-built for MesaCare.
MesaCare’s clinical operating system is a repeatable competency path — not a hire-and-hope model. Referrers get the same standard of care from every visit, in every home.
Evidence-based decision support and protocol SOPs for every wound etiology we treat.
Direct manufacturer training on MolecuLight fluorescence imaging, UltraMIST low-frequency ultrasound, and XSONX ultrasonic debridement before field use.
Medical Director Dr. Wright leads remote clinical training and case review. Jennifer Nelson, our Field Clinical Lead, then rides along on in-home visits and signs each new provider off before independent practice — no exceptions.
If the visit isn’t in the patient’s best interest, we don’t do it. Simple.
Non-contact and low-contact modalities are the default. Sharp debridement only when it’s the right call.
MesaCare exists for the wounds no one else has been able to close. If it’s complex, we want to see it.
